GLACIER 3000

Glacier 3000 is one of the most popular tourist sites in the Swiss Alps. Located at an altitude of 3000 meters, this glacier offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and a unique experience.

The glacier is accessible by a cable car that leaves from the village of Col du Pillon near Les Diablerets in the canton of Vaud. Once at the top, visitors can explore the area at their leisure. One of the main attractions of Glacier 3000 is the Peak Walk, a suspended walkway that connects two peaks and offers spectacular views of the valley below.

Winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy the ski area, which has 25 km of trails and offers optimal conditions from December to April. Skiers can also enjoy off-piste and freeride skiing, while snowboarders can try their hand at one of the largest snow parks in the region.

In the summer, Glacier 3000 also offers many activities. Visitors can hike the trails, go rock climbing, summer sledding, mountain biking and even paragliding to enjoy the aerial view of the mountains.

In addition to outdoor activities, Glacier 3000 also offers a panoramic restaurant, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. This restaurant unfortunately fell prey to fire in 2022.
