CUBLY

The Cubly is easily done from Sendy-Sollard which is a nice starting point to begin the climb: you can either follow the road for a hundred meters to find the path to the left or take a shortcut off the path through the fields (depending on the conditions and what is in the field, of course, it’s up to you to judge), once out of the field upstream, you arrive directly on a path that allows you to continue the ascent in the North-East direction and to join the main path marked in brown, A few more minutes of effort, and you arrive at a magnificent house with the path of pedestrian tourism passing without hindrance in the middle of the property, a panel upstream reminds us of the need for a certain discretion allowing the good understanding between hikers and inhabitants, let’s thank the latter for offering to the passer-by the materialization of an idyllic living environment! Fifty meters further upstream, we arrive on the signpost of the Cubly path (almost all the pedestrian possibilities are specified). Only 15 minutes more of nonchalant ascent and the belvedere appears, then it only remains to follow the ridge more or less along its summit, with some small intermediate bumps to arrive at Sonloup and take its funicular if you have had your quota of effort, or otherwise go down to the Avant (15 minutes more) and why not to Montreux by the Gorges du Chaudron if you are in great shape.
