Nobel Peace Prize Playmobil Activity, 10/03/202510/03/2025 Last week, I read that a member of the US Congress had or was willing to nominate D. Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Can he do it, I’m not sure to be honest. In other times this would have seemed to me to be grotesque, even a form of April 1st; in 2025, unfortunately, I believe that anything that is absurd can become possible. It seems clear that D. Trump and his actions do not meet the criteria of Alfred Nobel’s will. We should therefore be reassured, but the risk is too great not to mobilise, even in a symbolic way. I, for one, am not. A hot-tempered 78-year-old at the head of a major power is enough to make even the most hardened of people cringe. It seems to me that the symbolic and powerful significance of the Nobel Peace Prize deserves better and deserves a mobilisation of the citizens of the world. I would therefore like to suggest that we make it clear to the Nobel Committee, as a precautionary measure, that we do not support Trump’s nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. If you believe that it is time to stand up against verbal violence and political action via social networks take part in signing this petition. End date 31 March 2025 To sign the petition, some of it is still in French. We’re working on it.
